So before the chapter begins, I have made a couple minor changes to the whole Spirit Warden thing:

1. The SW can conjure up their celestial energy and their demonic energy, but they will still have control over themselves unless they themselves go bat-shit crazy in the brain, which will not be good for anyone within close proximity.

2. I don't think I mentioned this, but the SW can use both the Archwolf and Archdemon form at their will, they don't have to be in battle or use energy. So if the SW wanted to use their Archwolf (demon) form to scare some kids for the lulz,  then they can and it won't effect them negatively, they will just be switching forms; it's like switching clothes :) And if you were wondering, YES , the clothes that the SW have on will stay intact, they won't be naked when they switch back to human form...well, unless they were naked to begin with that is...

3. The SW does go after angels, but ONLY the angels that are being corrupted into fallen angels/demons, not the normal angels :) Also, I decided to add any humans who the police cannot catch, like the people who have gone 10+ years and haven't been caught.
And...that's it....yep.

We sat in silence for quite a long time. I was still attempting to grasp the concept that I have dominate demonic genes. I mean, I have been told I am a demon, but I never thought I was LITERALLY a demon.

I always knew I was the black sheep of the family.

Oh, this day just gets better and better! What is going to be next? Scourged unicorns spreading plague magic around the world and turning everyone into zombies?

It was sarcasm universe, don't get trigger happy on me now.

"Hey (F/n), what are you doing here?" My head snapped up to see one of my college classmates, Nikki Jones, smiling down at me with shy hazel eyes. I smiled up at her and turned in my seat to face her.

"Oh hey Nikki! What's up?"

"I was wanting to ask you something. I have tried to ask other people if they saw what I saw, but they kept denying it. Whatever it was, it was really weird." I quirked an eyebrow and leaned on my elbow. I have seen one too many weird things already for my liking.

"What is it?" She bit her lower lip and glanced around as if someone was to over hear her. The only people who could hear her was myself, DM and Dove due to her quite tone. She leaned in closer to me and frowned slightly.

"Did Mr. Sokolowski act weird to you when we were taking the test the other day? I could have sworn that he almost looked...possessed." I felt a lump in my throat and my hands clenched the side of the table. I cleared my throat and forced a confused smirk.

"He did? I didn't notice THAT, but he did have an attitude that day. Maybe he was sick or something." Nikki stared down at the floor as if in thought. She ran a hand up her forearm and glanced up at me, a small smile planting itself on her gentle face.

"Well, that is slightly reassuring," she laughed silently to herself," it must have just been me, then. Of course." She stood back up and stared outside. Her smile dropped and her eyes slightly widened in fear as she shuffled nervously. She stared at me with a fearful expression. What was up with her? "Please, be careful and forgive me." Nikki took off out of the diner and ran down the street.

"What was that all about," Dove asked as she continued to watch Nikki though the window. DM hummed to himself and took a gulp of his coffee. He stared at Nikki also, watching her retreating form.

I have to agree with Dove. What was that all about? Nikki appeared more nervous and timid that what she usually is. What did she mean by "Be careful and safe?"  My lips thinned and I glanced outside to the street.

"Well one thing is for sure," DM said in a monotone voice. My thoughts snapped back to him. I sat forward again and rubbed the wide of my head with my fingertips, trying to suppress the now-forming headache. "You need to learn how to have total control over your powers. Now I'm not positive if energy and magic work hand in hand, but it wouldn't hurt to give it a try. Dove and I have agreed to 'train' you for control and movement. We don't want you going against a few demons and get pound to the ground."

"But I don't want something to go wrong and I accidentally hurt you two," I exclaimed. I meant every word. I could never forgive myself if they got hurt by my hand. Besides, I don't even know how much of a power surge I have flowing though me right now. For all I know, just one blast of the wrong amount of energy could blow up half the world. I could be a walking nuclear power plant.

No, (F/n), positive thoughts please.

"No offence, (F/n), but I think that you won't be able to do much harm at the beginning. We can control you," Dove remarked, swishing her hot chocolate in her hand. "Besides, we aren't going to be starting World War III, it will just be a little cat fight, that's all." I shook my head and sat back. I still wasn't up for this. I will need a little more convincing.

"What about any wounds? You will be walking around with bruises and possibly gashes." A smile crept on Dove's face she she leaned forward, gesturing to DM with her thumb.

"That is not a problem at all. DM has us covered with all that."

"What do you mean?"

"What Dove means is that I have the remedies for any injury from a oozing gash to a headache," DM replied with a toothy grin. "And if you just-so-happen to get out of control," he unbuttoned his coat and reached in and pulled out a syringe with a clear liquid in it, "then I am going to tranquilize your ass," he stated smugly.

I bit the inside of my lip and nodded. At least there is a back up plan. I sighed and placed my right cheek in my palm, resting my elbows on the table.

"Fine, you two win. Where and when is this happening?" DM and Dove scooted out of the booth. DM put his top hat back on and smoothed out his coat.

"After you go home and change. I think you will want more flexibility and comfort for when Dove here kicks you into the ground without mercy when you work her up enough." I could practically see my face losing all of it's color, going completely pale.

That must of happened because DM laughed and patted my shoulder playfully. "Do now worry, ma'dame. Dove will go easy on you. Je promets." His gaze flicked down to her," Right, Dove?" Dove shrugged her shoulders and crossed her arms, narrowing her eyes at me.

"I guess I'll go easy on her. I will make no such promises." she turned her back but not before sending me a playful smirk and a small wave. DM shook his head and looked down at me.

"We will be in the park when you are ready. Most likely we will be at the playground. If you see a grown woman in red giggling like a child, going down slides and running around aimlessly, then that is most likely Dove." I laughed and stood up, stretching.

"I really appreciate this. I really do. I don't know how I can repay you two." DM smiled and turned around but his gaze still held onto mine.

"There are two ways you can repay us. One, keep this world safe. And two, have a hell of a good time at the carnival tonight. Au revoir pour le moment, (F/n)."

I opened the door to my apartment and sighed, rolling my head to try and ease my muscles. I glanced over and saw that my TV was on and a familiar black and white clown was laying on the couch sleeping.

I growled and paced over to him. I turned off the TV and shook Jack violently. He shook his head and blinked, glancing up at me with surprise.

"What? Do you already have a high bill to pay for channels? Oh," he grabbed my deceased grandma's quilt and threw it over the couch lazily,"there. Still mad?" I crossed my arms and continued to glare daggers at him.

"I am so pissed at you," I growled, my nails digging into my forearms. Jack laughed and stood up, crossing his arms with an amused look on his face. Oh what I would pay to see that look of his decimated on the spot at this exact moment.

"Clearly." I rubbed my temples and gave him a cold smile. My hand was itching to hit him.

"So, how long did you know that I was the Spirit Warden?" That was when all amusement in his face left the building.  He swallowed hard and stared down at me.

"I knew for a very long time. And by a long time, I mean before you were even born." My eyes widened a bit.
"So you knew of my existence before I was even BORN?"

"Yeah. But I was the only one who knew. I was the only demon Jynx told because him and I were good buddies back in the day."

"So you knew that my dad was a demon and you never told me?" Jack smirked and sat down, resting his arms on the back on the couch.

"Did you want to really stand out during show-and-tell day?" I gritted my teeth and closed my eyes.

"So let me guess, Jynx sent you to be my guardian or something until I was older so he could steal me back? Why did you keep this a secret from me!?" Jack stared at the floor, frowning. He appeared deep in thought and his talons raked across the couch fabric. After a few moments, he glanced back up at me.

"Yes, he did. And to answer your second question, some secrets are best left unveiled."  I sighed and nodded, walking off to my room. I don't even care anymore. Getting down this whole Spirit Warden ordeal is what I need to focus on right now. The harmony of the world sits on my shoulders.

Not the best job.

I changed into a black tank-top and black sweats. It was the most comfortable thing I had in my entire wardrobe. I glanced down at the two guns on my bed. I walked over to my dresser and pulled out two black, finger less gloves. I have never used these types of guns. Besides, I think these gloves will help me grip them better if they have a strong recoil. I put my hair into a ponytail and allowed a few strands to fall freely on both sides of my face. I slipped on my black combat boots and tied them tightly.

I cracked my neck and glanced down at the guns again. I walked over to the closet and took out a box. Reaching in, I pulled out a black double  gun holster. I lifted up my shirt and put it around my pants waistline. I slid the guns into place and pulled my tank-top over them.

Just bringing them for security reasons.

I walked out of my bedroom and saw Jack leaning on the wall spacing off. I went over to him and snapped my fingers in front of his face. He blinked a couple times before turning his head to me.

"What happened happened, don't beat yourself up over it. You did provide me with a lot of entertainment and compassion as a kid, so I can't be too hard on you." Before I walked off, I stopped and glanced back at him, smiling. "But..."

"But what?"

"I want you to come with me. Be my walking paranormal encyclopedia. Besides, it's the least you could do for me." Jack sighed and walked over to me.

"You're right. I'm bored as hell anyways. So anyways, what are we doing?" I closed the door behind us and locked it.

"I'm getting a training session from a couple friends. They told me all about this unlike you who kept that mouth of yours shut." Jack rolled his eyes and we descended down the stairs.

"That was for a good reason, you know. I bet you behaved well with those two. But if you were with me you would have freaked out and probably start beating me for not telling you like your dead alcoholic 'father." I stopped and gripped the railing tightly. Taking in a deep breath, I turned and gave him a cold glare.

"I am nothing like any of my fathers as far as I'm concerned. They are polar opposites of me. I would never purposely beat or harm someone I care about. What even made you think that thought, Jack," I whispered harshly. I continued down the steps and went outside to the car. I felt tears weld up in my eyes and I wiped them away absently. Jack phased though the door and sat down in the seat, crossing his arms.

"You're right, I'm sorry." I put the car into reverse but hit the brake and glanced over at him, my eyes narrowed.

"You seem very apologetic today."

"I assumed you were on the rag on top of absorbing all of this new information so I'm doing this for MY sake." My jaw dropped and I felt my face heat up. I growled and snapped my attention away from Jack.

"Oh fuck you." Jack laughed and crossed his lanky arms. His smile was so large I though his face was going to rip in half.

"I can't believe my precious little (F/n) is using such language! I remember when you thought it was the worst thing possible even when someone said 'pissed.' You would always yell at them and threaten to wash their mouth out with soap." I laughed silently and turned out of the parking lot.

"Times change and people change."

As we went down the road I swiftly glanced at Jack looking out the window, his eyebrows furrowed together. He had a slight frown for a second until it dissipated and his features relaxed. I smirked and faced forward again.

"What are you thinking so hard about?"

"The past. When you were a kid."

"Ah, those were the fun times." Jack snickered and I could see him glance at me with my side vision.

"You were an interesting child, (F/n). You were raised in a shithole neighborhood and you didn't turn out a stripper or a drug dealer, but a respectable officer who vowed to protect all who she can."

"I guess my angelic side didn't want me to take a career down that dark path. But those jobs make very good money."

"Out of all the people in this entire world, I think that nobody could be the Spirit Warden but you." I shrugged my shoulders and pulled into the park.

"I didn't really have a choice, did I?"

"No, you were chosen for the job even before you were born. But there is a reason for why everything happens."

"What is my reason?" Jack blinked and glanced back outside. He seemed to space out again. I saw him flinch and he cringed slightly.

"Your glass heart."

I regarded Jack's words as we pulled into a parking spot under a tree. Isn't having a glass heart a bad thing? Wouldn't a stone heart be better? If I'm destined to keep harmony in the paranormal world, then I need to have a strong heart or I'll just shatter.

My head whipped over to Jack as I heard him groan in pain. My eyes widened when I saw him wrapping his arms around his stomach and his face twisted in pain. I unbuckled my seat belt and ran to the other side of the car to Jack.

"Jack! What's wrong!?" Jack let out another low, pain-filled groan. He partially opened on eye and I could see the pain fogging over his pale irirs'. He let out a scream and pure panic hit me. What could I do!?

"My e-energy. Someone is t-t-tampering with it. Taking i-it-" I caught Jack as he fell forward, unresponsive. I laid the seat back and got in the back seat to sit over him. He was even paler than what he normally is! Which is really damn pale.

I feared for the worst as I leaned down to his mouth. A small strain of fear broke as I heard gentle breathing. I shook my head and clenched my fists. Fresh tears made their way down my cheeks.

Maybe if I wasn't a noob at this whole Spirit Warden thing then maybe I might have known a way to help him. How do you save a demon who has drained energy? I gasped loudly as I saw Jack fade into black smoke for a spit second, only to turn back. He must be loosing so much energy that he is not able to retain his solid form.

Oh come on, (F/n). There has to be SOMETHING that you can do!

I bit my lower lip and glanced at Jack. It was then that it hit me. My lips trembled and I swallowed harshly.

I closed my eyes and took in a deep breath. I felt a burning sensation reach my mouth and I gasped in pain. My whole jaw and mouth began to burn and ache. My eyes snapped open and I opened the mirror on the passenger side. What I saw in the mirror was my reflection staring back at me with deep yellow eyes, the whites completely dominated by a crimson and black mixture. Along my jawline and mouth were obsidian veins that grew as they went on.

I glanced back down at Jack and gulped. I shut the door and climbed onto his lap. My lips trembled again as I leaned in towards him.

A fresh load of demonic energy coming right up.

I hesitated before my lips brushed his. I groaned and took in  a deep breath. I wanted a solution to saving him and here it is.

So stop hesitating you big wuss and save your demon.

My body tensed as my lips attached to his. I grabbed the side of his head for support. There was no response from Jack. I pulled away and slapped Jack a couple times.

"Damnit Jack! I'm trying to save you here!" I leaned in again and before we connected again, I whispered, "please, take it."

It felt like forever, but I finally felt a draining sensation. Jack's lips were finally moving with mine. The longer this went on, the stronger the sensation got. I closed my eyes and leaned in, resting my hands on his shoulders. I felt Jack's hand rest on the back of my head and my push me closer to him.

Jack pulled away after a couple minutes and glanced up at me with lidded eyes. I opened my eyes and stared at him, breathing hard. I'm not going to lie, that hurt a little. I guess having some of your energy ripped from you isn't exactly a walk in the park.

"Why did you do that," he asked weakly.

"I'm not loosing my paranormal encyclopedia." This earned a smirk and he sat the chair back up. I sat in his lap as he held me close to him.

"That was a little spicy. Dark energy doesn't take like a five-star dinner that's for sure." I laughed and ran a hand down his arm.

"I'm just glad your okay. You said something about your energy being taken?" Jack sighed and turned his attention outside.

"It's a form of punishment that I have to endure." I gripped his arms and forced him to look at me by grabbing his chin. He still looked so weak even after he got a load of Archdemon energy.

"Punishment? What are you talking about?" A small smirk found its way onto Jack's black lips.

"Lets just say that I was a bad boy and I didn't follow directions." He groaned and rested his head back, closing his eyes.  There was no way he could stay up or do anything.

"Go back home and rest, I'll be fine. You got drained. " Jack's eyes opened and he grinned.

"But I'm your 'guardian.' It's my job to watch over you." I rolled my eyes and returned the grin.

"Consider yourself dismissed for today. I'm a big girl, I can watch over myself."

"Don't forget the Spirit Warden part either."

"How can I?" I was about to get off of Jack until he gripped the back of my head and pulled me down for another kiss. This wasn't a kiss of energy theft, but an actual genuine kiss. His lips felt too perfect against mine.

Damn, if every time I give him energy and then  this happens, I'll sign the contract to be a donor No problem here.

This time it was me that broke the kiss.

"What was that for?"

"For the hell of it," Jack replied with his infamous smirk as he phased out from under me. I landed softly on the seat where Jack used to be.

Zach would not be a happy camper right now.

I shook my head and stepped out of the door, setting the alarm. I froze as I heard a familiar caw. I glanced up wearily and saw the crow sitting on a high branch of an elm tree. I could of swore that bird was looking at me. It cawed again and took off, flying past the trees behind me and out of sight.

I rubbed the back oh my neck and took off for the park. I smiled at all the families out enjoying the day. Kids were running around and giggling at their heart's desire while parents sat back and watched with smiles on their face's at the kid's antics. A couple fathers were tackled to the ground and sat on by their giggling twins.

Despite the occurrences that happened earlier today, I have a feeling things are going to get better. It's like a shift in the air that made me feel more relaxed and tranquil.
I glanced over at the park's recreation center and glanced at the sign that stood on the sidewalk. A sunshine with a smiley face and holding crayons mascoted the board that read:

Thursday 12

12:00 p.m.

Arts and Crafts!

Ah, I always loved arts and crafts. I glanced down at my phone and saw that it was 10:00 a.m.  Depending on how long this little session takes, maybe I'll be able to make it! Hey, I may be 21, but I still love to make flowers and all that good shit.  It's relaxing. Therefore, I like it. Continuing on, I put my hands in my pockets.

"Hey, (F/n), wait up!" I stopped and saw Nikki running out of the recreation center. She stopped in front of me and huffed, smiling weakly.

"Nikki, are you stalking me,"I teased. She laughed and shook her head.

"No, I'm not. I just so happen to be volunteering here to help the kids with the arts and crafts so I can add more volunteer work to my resumes."

Ah Nikki, always putting in a helping hand to assist anyone. She is a nice person. Sometimes too nice for her own good. She turned to the doors and glanced back at me. "Also, I was wondering if you could help me set a table up. I'm the only on here so far and I need two people so set this up." I smiled and walked towards the doors, nodding.

"Of course I will. I can't stay long, though. I need to meet a couple friends soon."

"I understand," she replied. Something in my mind went into a defensive mode at the tone of her voice. It was low and shaky as if she was hiding something and was scared as hell that I was going to find out. I brushed off the feeling and mentally laughed at me tension. This is Nikki we are talking about. It's not like she is planning my death or anything.

As we walked into the center, she walked over to a picture of a puma stalking out of tall grasses.
"What do you think of this picture? It's a new one that they put up today." I walked over to the picture and scanned it carefully. I have to agree, it was beautiful. Nikki took a step away from me.

"I think it's a very good picture, in fact, did you know the puma-" I jerked as I felt a pinch on my right shoulder. I turned my head to see a needle jabbed into my arm and it's contents pouring into my veins.

Nikki's face was grim, yet her eyes were watery.

"As I said earlier, please forgive me." A few seconds later, my world went completely black.

A sharp, pungent sensation filled my nostrils, immediately waking me from my sedation. I blinked rapidly to try and even my vision. I was in  an unfamiliar room with a mirror hanging over a small dirty sink, and a cabinet and counter.

"It's going to be okay, (F/n). You don't need to freak out," Nikki's voice cooed from my side. I glared up at her and sat up and tugged at the rope behind my back.

"Give me one reason why I shouldn't."

"We just want to talk. That's all." I pulled harder at the rope holding my hands. My throat and wrists were killing me.

"First, who is 'we?' And second, tranquilizing and kidnapping doesn't exactly entice someone to engage in a conversation."

The door opened and a woman with bright orange hair with black bangs and pale skin walked in. She smiled down at me and pulled a chair from the corner, dragging it over to me. She put the back of the chair to me and sat down, resting her chin on her folded arms.

"So, Jynx was right when I overheard him talking the other day. There is a Spirit Warden. I can feel the demon and angel in you. But the demon side of you is more dominating that the angel side." She smiled smugly, showing off pure white teeth. Her orange and black eyes scanned over me, studying me. "Such a rare creature you are. Not only a Spirit Warden, but a Spirit Warden who is more dark than light. I would expect you to be spitting venom and growing horns now, but you are contradicting reality and the mental image."

"And you are?" She sat up and gave a sarcastic courtesy bow.

"My name is Vanilla Yona."

"Fine Vanilla, why did you tranquilize me and have me tied up?" She went back to her original position but ran a slim finger under my chin, smirking darkly.

"What other reason would I do what I did to you? Well not what I did personally, but what I made Nikki here do." I glanced at Nikki with a 'what in the hell is going on' expression. Nikki took in a sharp breath and held it, glancing at Vanilla. Vanilla closed her eyes and her smirk grew, her head lowering slightly.

"Go on, doll, tell her. I won't be mad at you." Nikki released the breath and walked closer to me, wringing her hands.

"She-she killed my friends when we were out walking. Vanilla offered me a position to be her assistant for my life. Instinctively, I agreed. Stupid decision on my part." Vanilla clapped and glanced over at Nikki.

"What a lovely story. I loved the way your friends begged for their lives as I killed them like cows to slaughter." I blinked and leaned in closer to Vanilla, a form of familiarity rising up.

"Wait, you're the suspect who killed those guys a couple months ago!" The guys and I have been looking everywhere for the suspect, but we weren't able to get any real good clues. Vanilla here was sneaky with her killings.

"Present and accounted for," she replied cheerily, a hint of insanity coating her words.

"When I get out of here, you're going to fry," I growled. She chuckled and pinched my cheek harshly.

"Oh, I'm so scared. I am well aware that you are the Spirit Warden, but you are weak right now. You have had no practice with your energy, celestial or demonic." I reflected to my generosity back in the car with Jack.

"Look, that do you want. Do you want money? Do you want my money or something?" Vanilla shook her head and ran her fingernails along my throat.

"No, I don't want your money. What I want is that Archdemon inside you. I'm feeling generous, you can keep the Archangel. With that Archdemon energy in me, I'll be able to finally step up in the ladder from a succubus to a new Archdemon. We are out by the way, the last one is in you. Isn't that right, Sakiri?" I felt a heated sensation twinge at my heart.

Vanilla walked over to the cabinet and pulled out a black box. She opened it slowly and her eyes flicked to mine, fire burning in them. She reached into the box and pulled out a diamond with a pentagram engraved on the top. I raised an eyebrow.

"What is that thing?" Vanilla strolled over to me and ran the sharp end of the diamond along my throat. I could feel the small trickle of blood fall from the scratch.

"This is called the 'Inferni Siphonem.' Once I stab this into your heart, that Archdemon of yours inside of you will be out of your hair and will be in my hands. Now..." she growled and she raised the diamond up, aiming for my heart. "Hold still, this will hurt a-" she didn't even finish the sentence as my restraints broke and with a single punch she flew back into the wall. I stood up quickly and glared at the succubus. Her head snapped up and flashed her fangs.

"Nikki! Hold her still!" I felt Nikki's hands wrap around my neck from behind. I tried to pry her hands away, but her arms were as strong as stone. She must have been infused with some demonic energy

A wave of fear hit me as Vanilla made her way over to me, dangerous diamond in hand.

"I'm so sorry, (F/n)." I felt my demonic energy weld up in my hands as I watched Vanilla raise the diamond above her once again.

"I'm sorry, too." I grabbed for more of my energy and I launched Nikki back. I spun just in time to see her slam against the wall and fall to the floor unconscious. Hopefully she had some medical and life insurance.

I was shocked that sent her flying back like that. I won't lie, I felt guilty that I did that, but the guilt left as soon as it came. She assisted in trying to kill be basically.

Now, since I used my demonic energy, I could not only feel it in my hands, but though my whole body. A shudder of excitement raced over me. I smirked at Vanilla as the diamond in her hand was frozen in place mid- air. Her whole arms was shaking, trying to break the force that held her in place.

I walked over to the counter that my guns were resting on. I snapped them around my waist.

I smirked and took a couple steps away from her. I glanced over at the sink. I had two curved obsidian horns growing from the side of my head. My eyes were like they were in the car, deep yellow with the whites completely consumed by a crimson and black mixture. Tiny black veins escaped from my sockets and wrists. I grinned wickedly at Vanilla with a strange thrill.

Sorry Dove and DM, energy restraint training will have to be on hold for a little bit.

"Alright bitch...You want to experience the power of an Archdemon," I growled playfully at her as I saw and felt the black energy whip around in my hand viciously, biting at the bit to destroy anything in its path. "Then here is a little taste..."

-POV Change-

Dove and DM sat lazily on a bench glancing around wearily. Dove glanced up at DM and folded her arms in her lap.

"Do you think she got lost," Dove asked curiously with a tint of boredom. DM continued to glance around, but he shook his head, tapping his fingers on the bench.

"I don't know why she should get lost. (F/n) DOES live here, after all. If anyone was going to get lost, then it would be us." Dove sat up straighter and crossed her legs, sitting Indian style.

"Yeah, I guess you're right. Maybe she is getting a bite to eat or something."

"Perhaps she is crying at home. After all, she just learned about her interesting family tree." Dove nodded and glanced up and down the pathway.

"That is a possibility. Although she handled it like a trooper at the diner." Dove conjured up a glass of water and took a long drink.

"Indeed she did,my dear." DM shrugged his shoulders and glanced down at Dove. "If we have to, we will go look for her."

The ground shook violently, almost causing the bench to fall down as a loud, almost deafening explosion echoed through the entire park. All the trash cans and recycling bins around them fell to the ground, still trembling. A huge cloud of dark mass erupted into the sky a couple miles away from them. Kids began to cry as parents snatched up their terrified children and took off screaming about an earthquake, completely ignoring the huge cloud.

Dove and DM stared at the cloud with wide eyes, mouths agape. Dove's glass fell out of her hands and crashed to the ground.

"I-I think we found her, DM," Dove said in a monotone voice. DM blinked.

"At least we know where she is." Dove and DM glanced at each other slowly. Soon, they shot off of the bench and teleported to the area.

-Regular POV-

I stood over Vanilla as I breathed heavily, sweat dripping down my forehead. She groaned painfully and barley opened an eye to glance up at me. Every limb she had was practically amputated and scattered who knows where. A huge hole replaced her chest where her black blood formed underneath her.

She was only hanging on by the smallest, thinnest strand of hair that ever existed. I crouched down and got close to her face. She smelled deeply of blood. Rich, fresh blood.
I glanced up as I saw a flash of turquoise and red appear before me. DM and Dove standing a few feet away, their faces full of shock.

"One second guys. Vanilla here and I need to have a little talk." I faced Vanilla again. She was looking up at me with lidded eyes, her breathing slow and shaky. "I hate to break it to you, but this is the end of the road for you. This is where you are going to die. Make your final thoughts about how you will die a lowly succubus, damaged beyond repair. You crave for power only lead you to your death. It's a damn shame, really." I reached over and grabbed the diamond, gripping it tightly in my hand.

"(F/n)," Dove questioned, worry mixed with curiosity, "what is that thing?" I smirked up at her and DM, twirling the diamond in my fingers.

"You'll see here in a couple seconds." I ran the diamond roughly across Vanilla's neck, just like she did mine. "Let me tell you something, Vanilla. You are lucky I'm feeling generous right now. I could torture the hell out of you, pardon the pun, considering what you were going to do to me and how you forced an innocent girl to be your slave for her life after you killed her friends. She unfortunately perished also because of you.  And any other victims that died by your hands. But it wouldn't bring me any satisfaction, I'm not a stone-cold killer like you. So, I'll just let you rest here until you take your last breath. You better ask for forgiveness for all those souls whose lives you ended."  I stood up and took a deep breath, concentrating on sending my demonic energy back into storage.

It was now that I finally saw the cataclysm that occurred. There was no longer a building, but a giant hunk of ash with a few pieces of the wooden frame standing. The surrounding area was burnt to a crisp, no life anywhere.

"(F/n)? How are you feeling," DM asked, taking a few steps closer to me. I gave a small smile and turned to them.

"I'm alright. Kinda tired, but alright." DM glanced around and looked at Dove.

"Consider any training today cancelled. We will do that tomorrow." Dove nodded in agreement and she glanced at me.

"You made a bunch of little kids cry." I bit my lower lip and glanced down at Vanilla, whose eyes were now glassy and lifeless.

"And I am sorry for that. But, I have something I need to do right now." I took the diamond in my hand and shoved it into Vanilla's chest with a sickening gurgling sound. I watched in shock and amazement as her body began to siphon into the diamond, the natural clearness turning pure black. Once all of her was in the diamond, I raised it up to my eye level and examined it.

"That's an Inferni Siphonem, isn't it," DM questioned. I nodded and gripped it tight in my hand.

"She wanted to use it to extract my Archdemon, Sakiri I believe, and upgrade herself into a squeaky clean new Archdemon." I glared at the diamond and threw it into the air above me. I grabbed one of my guns and shot at it, shattering the diamond into tiny pieces.

When a diamond is destroyed, so is the demon inside it.

I watched as the pieces fell to the ground, landing peacefully on the ground. DM walked over and stared down at me.

"I would like you to stay with us for the rest of the day. Even though you don't feel it, you energies may be unstable and you could blow something else up again. Just precautionary measures." Dove skipped over to me and hugged me, spinning me in a circle.

"And we just love your company." I laughed and stared back up at DM.

"That's fine with me." Dove gasped and she gripped my arms, smiling wildly.

"I could SO give you a tour of the carnival and let you meet the carnies and see all the different animals and attractions," she squealed. "What are we waiting for!? Let's GO!"

"Hold on, I have one more thing to do." Dove let me go and I walked to the scorched earth below me. I closed my eyes and dug into my celestial energy. A hasty flash of the angel's face smiled at me before I felt the celestial energy crackle at my fingertips. I smiled and crouched down, digging my fingers into the ground. I focused any energy I had into the ground. Soon, small cracks of white light appeared through the ground, bringing up new vegetation with them. After about thirty seconds, the area looked completely normal, excluding the burnt down building. I sent my energy back in and turned back to DM and Dove.

"It appears that you have good control over your celestial energy. It's just the demonic we have to work on. And your speed and side-changing," DM said as he began to fade away, smiling. Dove grabbed my arm and we were soon standing in the middle of a carnival.

Well, that was time convenient.
Oh Doooooooooooooooooove!!!! You can come out from under your rock now!! (I know I said that you and DM would be in this chapter a lot, but I had a plan change. The next chapter is THE chapter :) )
